As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlighted the timeless belief of Swami Vivekananda regarding the immense strength of India’s youth. Emphasizing that youth power forms the strongest foundation of nation-building, the Prime Minister shared a powerful Sanskrit Subhashitam reflecting courage, determination, and unwavering resolve.
The Sanskrit verse shared by the Prime Minister reads:
“Aṅgaṇavedī vasudhā kulyā jaladhiḥ sthalī ca pātālam।
Valmīkaśca Sumeruḥ kṛtapratijñasya vīrasya॥”
Explaining the deeper meaning of the verse, it conveys that for courageous individuals with firm determination, the entire world feels like their own courtyard, oceans appear as small ponds, and even the highest mountains seem like mere anthills. For those with strong willpower, nothing on Earth is impossible.
Taking to social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi wrote that Swami Vivekananda firmly believed youth power to be the backbone of nation-building. He added that Indian youth, driven by enthusiasm and passion, possess the capability to turn every resolution into reality.
The Prime Minister’s message serves as a strong source of inspiration for young Indians, encouraging them to remain confident, courageous, and committed towards building a stronger and self-reliant India.
This message once again underlines the government’s focus on empowering youth and recognizing their pivotal role in shaping the nation’s future.
