New Delhi, December 26 (PIB) — The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, will undertake a four-day visit to Goa, Karnataka and Jharkhand from December 27 to December 30, 2025, according to an official statement issued by PIB Delhi.
The President will depart for Goa on the evening of December 27 as part of her multi-state tour.
On December 28, President Murmu will embark on a submarine-based sea sortie from Karwar Harbour in Karnataka, marking a significant engagement highlighting India’s maritime and defence capabilities.
On December 29, the President will visit Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, where she will participate in the centenary celebrations of Ol Chiki, the script of the Santhal community. On the same day, she will also address the 15th Convocation Ceremony at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur.
Continuing her visit, on December 30, President Murmu will address the Inter-State Folk Cultural Festival “Kartik Jatra” in Gumla, Jharkhand, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage and tribal traditions.
The visit reflects the President’s continued engagement with cultural, educational, and defence-related initiatives across the country.
